Parkhotel and Congress Center Pilsen

welcome.png In 1842, a German brewer Josef Groll was invited to Pilsen and the world-famous beer Pilsner Urquell saw the light of day. More than 170 years after this historic milestone, the Czech–German efforts continue and we are pleased to announce that a joint conference of the Czech and German geological societies will be held in Pilsen, a city built on rocks with exciting and long-lasting geological history from Precambrian to Quaternary. The main mission of the conference is not only to discuss the latest views on the geodynamic evolution of Central Europe but also to bring together specialists across the entire range of Earth Science disciplines.

Welcome in Pilsen!
